Why do I still see features in the emissivity image? What effect does the column of corrections have on the radiance? Does it look different?

autoradcorr works by choosing many points that meet the specified criteria seen on the function's page. What likely happened is that it simply chose bad points, or not enough points, and thus gave you a bad correction. Another thing to look into is the column of corrections. It is possible and probable that the correction needed for the image cannot simply be described by one number (which is ideal) due to a variety of reasons. The column of corrections interpolates between the corrections at each line. By using this method, you can get a correction that changes thoughout the image. This is actually the way that works the best and the way that thmproc does things.
