Could you show what effect this algorithm has on the emissivity?


This algorithm is used for making pretty dcs images.  While the values of radiance, and thus emissivity, shouldn't change, they do.  You can easily try what you are suggesting but whenever you are taking spectra from an image always use the data that has not had this algorithm applied.  The emissivity will look much less noisy but it should only be used to find areas of interest.
