Performs the Real Fourier Transform on an array of an arbitrary number of samples.
 
This function will only function properly on a 1xNx1.  It will assume all other columns to be linear extensions of the first column.  The reverse function is [[irfft]]().

Return Value: A 1xNx1 linear numeric array
